iWay Software has a long heritage of tackling integration challenges that others sweep under the rug. It began in 1975, when our parent company, Information Builders, was founded to help businesspeople gain access to information more easily than they ever could before. Unlike every other reporting tool and business intelligence platform, we avoided proprietary technologies and focused on integrating with every possible information system that held data.
This strong integration background was repurposed in the client/server era, becoming the original middleware product: the award-winning Enterprise Data Access/SQL. Thousands of companies used EDA/SQL to access hard-to-integrate proprietary systems from desktop tools.
We launched iWay Software in 2001 to highlight our unique capabilities, first as an adapter vendor, and then as a full-service integration provider. Our solutions today include products for:
- Business Process Automation (BPA): technology that streamlines business processes using event-driven and service-oriented techniques – standalone or with other middleware, while ensuring easy adaptability to changing applications and business requirements
- Enterprise Information Management (EIM): technology that manage data quality, master data, real-time data warehousing, federated query, and other complex data-oriented requirements – all in real-time
- Business-to-Business Integration (B2B): technology that manages complex information from the moment it touches your firewall to the moment it has propagated to back-end applications
