iWay Application Adapter Provides State-of-the-Art Middleware Solutions for SAP^® Basis- and SAP Web Application Server-Based Systems

Awarded at SAP headquarters in Walldorf, Germany, these interface certifications apply to the new iWay Application Adapter Version 5 for the following SAP integration scenarios: ALE Converter and Subsystems (CA-ALE), ALE Message Handling System (CA-AMS), and XML Communication Interface (CA-XML). These three interface certifications help guarantee valuable, rapid, cost-effective application and data integration for iWay customers.

The certified iWay Application Adapter Version 5 for SAP^® solutions allows organizations, integrators, and other software vendors to seamlessly integrate from SAP Basis 4.0-based systems up to SAP Web Application Server 6.20-based systems with virtually any other legacy system or application on any other platform. iWay Application Adapter for SAP extracts critical business logic and data contained within SAP applications for use in the integrated enterprise, including popular standards such as J2EE and .NET and related broker environments from IBM, BEA Systems, and Microsoft.

CA-AMS certification – Rapidly bridges SAP Basis and SAP Web Application Server data exchange with other applications through pure message delivery. As an ALE Message Handler, the adapter only pushes IDoc messages without the need for conversion from one or more SAP solution-based systems.
CA-XML certification – Eases the communication between external middleware with SAP Basis and SAP Web Application Server over the Internet using XML, HTTP, or HTTPS. iWay Application Adapter immediately transfers SAP solution specifications into XML for straight transfer into application subsystem repositories. iWay's CA-XML-certified adapter directly receives and converts messages to be pulled or pushed into XML formats to or from SAP solution-based systems over the Internet.
