Introduction to the Bioterrorism Response Suite
Please join iWay Software for this complimentary Webcast and learn how you can reduce the time, cost, effort, and risk involved with deploying a bioterrorism response system by up to 80 percent.
CDC/NEDSS Mandate
In the wake of 9/11 and the anthrax attacks, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) announced the availability of over $1 billion dollars for the creation of bioterrorism response systems in each of the fifty states. It is the CDC's intention that the development of these systems should be pursued vigorously with as little start-up time lost as possible.
Introducing the iWay Bioterrorism Response Suite
The iWay Bioterrorism Response Suite fully addresses the data gathering, integration, and analysis issues associated with bioterrorism threats and the goals of the CDC.
The Suite is a comprehensive software package providing development tools,
templates, transformers, and adapters for the rapid deployment of bioterrorism
response systems. Specifically designed to help local, state, and federal
agencies quickly share data and deliver bioterrorist warnings, the suite
complies with the CDC-mandated NEDSS standards and fulfills the following
CDC requirements:
 |
Transforms common data formats such as comma-delimited files, spreadsheets,
EDI, and XML into industry standard formats like HL7 and HIPAA that
can be delivered across a Web services infrastructure |
 |
Integrates easily with existing enterprise systems without custom
coding |
 |
Delivers analysis and response through templates that provide syndromic
reporting and analysis against the data received from hospitals, labs,
and pharmacies |
