Adapters On Demand
The iWay Universal Adapter Suite currently provides 300 adapters that support sophisticated metadata generation, event handling, and service interactions. But if you have a requirement that we don't currently support – application, data source, protocol, envelope, format, platform, or other technology, iWay Software can create adapters on demand to suit your specific environment.
Instead of writing new adapters (or hiring a small army of consultants to do so), you can let iWay Software be your adapter factory – just as we are the adapter factory for leading integration vendors like BEA, Microsoft, Oracle, SAP, and Sonic. The iWay Universal Adapter Suite allows our experienced staff to create new adapters much more rapidly than you could starting from scratch or using an adapter development kit, largely because of our superior support for adaptive technology along four dimensions:
- Protocol for sending a receiving messages, such as HTTP or MQSeries
- Envelope for addressing and delivering the messages, such as SOAP
- Format schema for message payload, such XML with XML Schema
- Platform, such as BEA WebLogic, IBM WebSphere, Microsoft BizTalk Server, or SAP NetWeaver
Adapters can be created on demand for applications, data sources, and other infrastructure to suit your needs along any of these dimensions. If you change your environment later, then we can support your needs using existing iWay adapters or extensions along the dimension you need.
Our on-demand adapters use the iWay Universal Adapter Suite as their foundation, so they provide the same benefits as those that we have already built:
- Support from a committed vendor instead of your in-house or consulting resources
- Middleware created to support exactly the use cases you need
- Extensibility along any dimension with minimal effort (e.g., for deployment in a new server)
