TIBCO Rendezvous is the foundation of TIBCO ActiveEnterprise. Rendezvous delivers true real-time publish/subscribe and request/reply messaging. Applications can select from several qualities of service, including reliable, certified, and transactional, as appropriate for each interaction. Messaging can be request/reply or publish/subscribe, synchronous or asynchronous, locally delivered, or sent via WAN or the Internet. Rendezvous uses a distributed architecture to eliminate bottlenecks and single points of failure. Rendezvous messages are self-describing and platform independent, with a user-extensible type system that provides support for data formats such as XML.
The iWay Intelligent Adapter for TIBCO is part of the iWay Universal Adapter Suite, which makes it easy to integrate and reuse virtually any applications, data, or other information technologies.
Many business-critical applications are legacy systems that are linked through TIBCO Rendezvous messaging. Now you can leverage your investments in these legacy systems with the iWay Intelligent Adapter for TIBCO.
